In the aftermath of the April, 2015 earthquake, the Celeritas Foundation committed its resources to provide aid to the people of Nepal.  We have structured this aid so that it may best serve both the immediate and the long term needs of those afflicted. 

In the weeks following the earthquake, the Celeritas Foundation provided funds for sturdy tarps to be used as emergency shelters for those who lost everything.  

We are also collaborating with Dhulikhel Hospital in the Kavrepalanchowk region to further public health goals in the area.  For example, The Celeritas Foundation and Dhulikhel are working together to establish surveillance of waterborne disease in the region.   Additionally, donor contributions have enabled us to provide testing and purification supplies to establish remote water quality testing and control the spread of waterborne disease in these areas.
