This program was created last year<\/a> to commemorate the foundation\u2019s late co-founder, Jim Simons, and to continue his commitment to supporting exceptional students in mathematics.\r\n\r\nThe Simons Dissertation Fellowship in Mathematics provides research support to graduate students in the final years of their mathematics Ph.D. program.
